Island Crusade

New on the workbench: Island Crusade

A third game: knights, monsters, a hundred islands and one peasant with an axe. Android first, coming soon on Google Play.

Yes, a third one. We know. We said "one project at a time". We meant it, mostly.

Island Crusade is an incremental game in pixel art. The Monster Tide took the Hundred Isles of Azurmer, and the king sends what he has left: one peasant and an axe. You tap the monsters, the peasant hits them too, the gold rolls in, and the army grows. Guards, archers, lancers, priests, then twenty knights in all, some with names that take longer to say than to beat a wave.

Every island has ten waves and a boss with a 30-second timer. When the crusade stalls, the knights go home, offer the monsters' relics at the altar, and start again from the first island, a bit stronger. Over and over. It's that kind of game.

It started as something else entirely (there was an egg involved, don't ask). It turned into knights the day one of us said "what if we were the ones hitting the monsters?", and it hasn't stopped since.

Where and when

Android first, coming soon on Google Play. No date yet: we'd rather give one when we're sure. And as always, nothing moves while the game is closed: you take the islands back while you play.
